Marma points are seats of vital energy, and anatomically, are sites where mansa (muscle), sira (veins, arteries, nerves and lymph), snayu (tendons/ligaments), asti (bones) and sandhi (joints) meet up. It also helps to further eliminate toxins by inducing sweating and it improved the movement of the joints, removes water retention and soothes the nerves and improves blood circulation.
