About Me
“Every individual is a unique expression of the universal consciousness, called Purusha.” Dr Vasant Lad
Like many others, my journey through life has been filled with challenges that I’ve had to navigate and overcome. I know first-hand the depths of despair that can exist within our own minds, and, tragically, I am all too familiar with the heart-breaking consequences when people are unable to find light in that darkness.
In my own battle with anxiety, depression, self-loathing, and limiting beliefs, I found a way to heal and transform my life. Now, I carry a heart full of love and a deep desire to be the light that helps others find their way out of the shadows.
This path led me to a career in counselling, and as I continued my personal journey of spiritual and wellness growth, I was introduced to Ayurveda.
In addition to the mental and emotional struggles I’ve faced, I’ve also battled physical ailments such as IBS, migraines, and PCOS since my teenage years. These conditions often affected my daily life and drained me of my energy and vitality.
By the time I discovered Ayurveda, I had already overcome anxiety and depression, but I was still grappling with these chronic physical challenges. Ayurveda, however, completely transformed my experience.
Ayurveda, which translates to “the science of life,” or as Dr. Vasant Lad so beautifully calls it, “the science of self-healing,” holds profound wisdom. One of its core principles is the healing of the gut—a vital element for our overall well-being. It’s no longer surprising that modern scientific research has aligned with this ancient knowledge, recognising the gut’s crucial role in maintaining our health and immunity.
Yet, Ayurveda offers so much more than just gut health. It’s a fascinating science and a beautiful art that’s truly hard to fully encapsulate, but it continues to guide me on my own journey toward healing and wholeness.
Find your balance, energy & happiness the natural way.

About Me
I believe that within each of us lies a powerful self-healing ability, one that is awakened when the right conditions are nurtured in both our bodies and our lives.
It is my passion to share the knowledge, wisdom, and tools that have helped me unlock this potential and heal from physical, mental, and emotional challenges, in order to help others who resonate with this journey do the same.
Mission and Vision
It is my mission to share the transformative journey of self-healing I have walked, along with the wisdom, therapeutic tools, and skills I’ve acquired, to support anyone who feels aligned with what I offer.
We are all unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and healing. Our personal journey toward well-being is just the same. We each discover and carve our own truth along the way, and it is this truth that leads us home to our highest selves, where health and happiness are our natural states.
My vision is to help as many people as possible unlock the healing potential within themselves. It is often said that therapists and practitioners are not the healers; we are the facilitators. Our role is to create the environment and hold the space for healing to unfold.
Ultimately, it is the individual who takes the courageous step to reclaim their health and happiness. It is through their commitment to daily changes and conscious choices that profound shifts in mind, body, and consciousness occur.
F.A.Q
Ayurveda is experiencing a resurgence as a powerful way to restore health and happiness. Since it remains unfamiliar to some, I’ve included a list of frequently asked questions to help provide more clarity.
Where does Ayurveda come from?
Ayurveda originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It was once practiced globally before its popularity waned with the rise of allopathic medicine. However, we are now returning to this ancient wisdom, using it to heal modern illnesses and disorders.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient, holistic system of medicine. In some ways, it shares similarities with Traditional Chinese Medicine, as it is based on elemental healing and incorporates diet, lifestyle guidance, and herbal treatments in its approach.
The literal translation of Ayurveda is “the science of life,” or as Dr. Vasant Lad beautifully describes it, “the science of self-healing.”
What happens at the initial consultation?
During the initial consultation, we will have 60 to 90 minutes to discuss your current health concerns. I will ask a series of questions to assess your overall health and identify any factors that may be contributing to your current imbalance. This will give me a clearer understanding, enabling me to determine the dosha imbalance and the root cause of your disorder. Following our session, I will create a personalised treatment plan, which we will review when we meet again.
What happens at the follow-up consultation?
When we meet again, we will review your treatment plan, discuss the dosha imbalance, and go over the necessary diet and lifestyle changes to help restore balance. I will also explain any herbs included in your treatment and how to take them.
This session will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions that may have come up since our last meeting, or to clarify any aspects of the plan.
What happens next?
We will meet again in three weeks to review your progress and discuss any adjustments that may be needed. However, I am available to answer any questions that arise between sessions. Additionally, if you feel the need to work through deeper emotional issues, we can arrange weekly counselling sessions to support you through the process.
