What are Counselling and Coaching

Person-centred counselling, developed by Carl Rogers in the 1940s, is based on the belief that everyone has the potential for self-actualisation—becoming their true self—when given the right conditions. Life’s challenges, past traumas, and limiting beliefs often prevent us from reaching this potential. As Carl Jung said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

The counselling relationship creates a safe space for personal growth, where you can explore, process, and release these blocks. By truly accepting ourselves, we open the path for change and energy to flow freely, leading to greater self-love and vitality. Science now supports the idea that unresolved emotions and traumas drain our energy, and healing these parts of ourselves can restore our overall wellbeing.

In this collaborative process, you’ll feel heard and supported, gaining greater self-acceptance and love. The result is a renewed love for life.

What is Coaching?

Coaching, while rooted in a person-centred approach, is more action-oriented and goal-focused. We’ll work together to define and achieve your specific goals, while occasionally blending elements of counselling when needed, always driven by your needs and flow.
